When group founders Hennie and Tertia Pretorius made this observation a few years ago, they were defining their view to build lasting relationships with customers. They set the tone and direction for a young company, and today those same words inspire a new generation of franchisees and employees.

Our goal is to carry on this legacy of innovative thinking, whether to import and distribute extraordinary quality products, or to create business opportunities that set our group apart from the competition and provide value for our customers.

Delevex started when the requirement for a competent technical training facility became evidently necessary in the field. Considered a specialist on satellite technology at the time, Pretorius created a basic document detailing the specification of equipment and minimum requirements for effective workmanship. As more and more valuable information became available, this document soon grew to a more than 200 page training manual, covering all aspects of satellite and installation technology, which are still being used by our technicians and trainers today.

The company then started, evolved and grew from a South African based one man DStv installer to a global marketer of satellite equipment, HDMi components and equipment that is unrivaled in the world. Our headquarters is located in Cape Town, South Africa. Today we supply a number of countries throughout Africa. Through our suppliers, shippers, retailers and other service providers, we'll soon directly or indirectly employ more than a hundred people.
